K-drama Review

I am utterly speechless--this drama caught me totally off guard. It is basically about a girl who was cheated on by her boyfriend and decided to save a boy at a park from drowning. It turns out that she ends up "dying" instead of the boy that she saved and she is then placed in the 900's(no I do not mean 1900's, I mean 900's). There she is faced with the hardships of learning about love, living in the past, trying to remember what her history teacher taught her, and losing loved ones to death.

Scarlet Heart: Ryeo totally breaks the rule of not being able to 'kill off the main character', and not only do the producers do this once, but twice, leaving a cliff hanger up to the last episode of the series. The producers have even been getting fans to beg them for a second season because the end of the series is so surprising. I recommend Scarlet Heart: Ryeo to anyone, even if you are not a fan of historical dramas(read my disclaimer), you will end up not being able to stop watching this beautiful show.
